What good luck that February 10 was a beautiful Friday, both Karine and Barbara were off work, and Winterlude festivities were underway. Off we went to the with Samuel to the Snowflake Kingdom in Jacques Cartier Park.
Our first encounter was with a friendly Canadian Navy mascot.
Then we had fun on the ice slides. Check out the video:
We negotiated our way through a labyrinth...
then more sliding. Time to have a first taste of a Beaver Tail... ummmmm.
Grant pushed Samuel and Karine around on a sled - fun!
After more sliding, it was time for a picnic lunch and fun around a campfire pit.
By
noon hour we had a very tired boy. Time to go home for a good nap after a fun morning.
